Solo Jazz add-on track with Elena
+ 400 NOK
This year we also have a Solo Jazz track! This track is three hours of intensive classes with the amazing Elena Evangelia, which can be taken in addition to your regular classes. Elena is a formally trained dancer, who has been teaching both rhythmical jazz and vernacular/street dances in her own cultural space since 2012, and would love to help you explore your dancing potential.
Anyone with a full pass or a party pass can choose this add-on.
Beginner Pass
1500 NOK
This is a special pass and price designed for people who are just starting out in their swing journey! There will be less classes than the full pass, but you will still be able to attend all the parties, as well as some of the taster classes.

Levels
There will be no auditions at our festival, so be sure to read through the descriptions carefully and choose the level that suits you best—we promise a weekend of intensive dance courses is a lot more fun when you’re in the right level!
If you’re unsure about which level you should choose, just send us a message on Instagram (it’s even better if you can include a short video of you dancing) and we can help you pick! Otherwise ask one of your local dance teachers what they think :)
Once you’ve registered it won’t be possible to change levels.
Our levels are all named after iconic Bergen locations;
Blå steinen - the go-to meeting spot for all Bergeners
Bryggen - our famous wharf, featuring loads of character
Fløyen - one of our beloved mountains, with lots of forest and paths to explore
Ulriken - our highest peak, most challenging hike, and best viewpoint
Blå steinen
Whether you’ve recently started dancing or have just been thinking about it, this is the class for you! This class is specifically tailored for beginners who are just starting their swing dancing journey, and our international instructors will help give your journey a massive boost. This track will consist of four intensive classes with our amazing instructors, and they’ll make sure you have some fabulous moves to bring to the social dance floor 🕺
Bryggen
You have some swing dancing experience! You’re comfortable with the basics (both six counts and eight counts), you love a good swingout, and you’re ready to take on new challenges 🕺 This class is aimed at dancers who are ready to not just learn new moves, but also dive deeper into the technique behind it all and really get into the swing of things 🔥
Fløyen
This isn’t your first rodeo 🤠 You've been dancing consistently for at least a few years, with solid fundamentals you don't have to think about anymore. Social dancing is a regular part of your life, and you've pushed yourself at workshops or festivals beyond your local scene. Improvising with unfamiliar partners? No problem. You adapt quickly and you're hungry for nuance, refining your connection, musicality, and movement quality. Classes at this level move fast. 🔥
Ulriken
⚠️ Make sure you tie your laces tight, this track might knock your sock off!⚠️ This is for our most experienced dancers! You’ve attended many a festival, participate in competitions often, and you probably attend international festivals regularly. “Too fast” isn’t a phrase you’re familiar with anymore, and your repertoire of figures and moves probably includes a few of your own. You’re ready to refine your own personal dance style and technique, and really dive into the finer details. The teaching pace at this level will be much faster than our other tracks ⚡
